Draws for the 2023/2024 Nigeria Women Football League – NWFL have been released after a successful Annual General Meeting in Lagos.

Club owners in Nigeria’s topflight Women’s League were joined by Stakeholders for the Meeting in Lagos on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Sixteen teams will participate in the 2023/2024 NWFL season following the addition of Sunshine Queens ,Ekiti Queens, Remo Queens and Dannaz ladies .

The teams have been split into two groups of eight teams each.While November 15th has been fixed as the season Kick-off Date.

Group A

Confluence Queens , Nasarawa Amazons Naija Ratels , Abia Angels, Dannaz Ladies, Royal Queens, Adamawa Queens, Heartland Queens.

Group B

Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens, FC Robo, Edo Queens, Rivers Angels, Sunshine Queens Lakeside/Remo Queens, Ekiti Queens

Delta Queens FC are reigning NWFL Champions and will face a tough title defence path in Group B that also houses top sides, Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, Edo Queens and FC Robo.
