The quarter-finals of the 2024 President Federation Cup Women’s category have been concluded today, revealing the four teams advancing to the semi-finals.
In a thrilling match at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, Nasarawa Amazons drew 1-1 with Remo Stars Ladies but ultimately lost 2-3 in the penalty shootout, sending Remo Stars Ladies to the next round.
At the Cathedral in Enugu, Osun Babes faced a tough challenge against Rivers Angels and were unable to find the back of the net. Rivers Angels dominated the match with a resounding 5-0 victory, securing their spot in the semi-finals.
Delta Queens showcased their prowess with a solid 2-0 win over Sunshine Queens under the sun in Benin City, ensuring their advancement to the next stage of the tournament.
The match between Naija Ratels and FC Robo Queens took place in Lagos and was tightly contested, ending in a 1-1 draw. However, Naija Ratels triumphed 5-4 in the penalty shootout, booking their place in the semi-finals.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, the finals for both the male and female categories of the 2024 Nigeria Federation Cup will be held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on June 29, 2024. NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, announced that the date has been agreed upon by both the NFF and GTI to meet the deadline for submitting the names of Nigeria’s representative clubs for next season’s continental club competitions to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
“Having looked closely at our programmes, the stage the men and women competitions are at the moment and the need to submit the names of all our representative clubs to CAF for African Club Competitions next season, ourselves and GTI have reached a consensus for the grand finale of the men and women finals of the President Federation Cup to take place on Saturday, 29th June.
“The venue is the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja. The women’s final will begin at 1pm while the men’s final will commence at 4pm, as has been the tradition for so many years now. NFF and GTI are committed to putting up a great show for this year’s grand finale.”
