Despite a prize pool of ₦500,000 for the champions, ₦300,000 for the runners-up, and ₦200,000 for the third-place team, organizers insist that the real motivation for legends and stakeholders is not the financial reward but the opportunity to foster camaraderie, honor football’s legacy, and establish a new football culture in Enugu.

“The prize money is not the motivation; this tournament is about honoring our football legends and bringing back the spirit of the game in Enugu. It’s the beginning of a new football culture,” Chisom said.
