Ghana vs Nigeria: Musa, Ighalo, Dennis, others hit camp

Nigeria national team captain Ahmed Musa has arrived at the Super Eagles camp ahead of the 2022 World Cup playoff double-header against the Black Stars of Ghana this weekend. 

Musa is joined by forwards Odion Ighalo and Watford’s trio of William Trosst-Ekong, Oghenekaro Etebo and Emmanuel Dennis.

Others who have joined the camp are: Leon Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Frank Onyeka, Odion Ighalo, Daniel Akpeyi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Shehu Abdullahi, Francis Uzoho.

Still expected to join the camp are Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Maduka Okoye, Zaidu Sanusi, Leciecter City’s Ademola Lookman, Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey.

However, AImeria of Spain forward Sadiq Umar has been exempted and will arrive in Camp on Tuesday. 

Nigeria will travel to Kumasi on Wednesday for the first leg of the playoffs against Ghana on Friday, before returning home for the second leg four days later at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
