Brazilian coach Rafael Everton has responded to rumours linking him with the vacant managerial position at NPFL club El Kanemi Warriors of Bauchi.
Having previously worked in Nigeria at Ifeanyi Ubah FC, Akwa United FC and Vandrezzer FC, Rafael Everton has been mentioned with interest in the El Kanemi Warriors job following the sack of Muhammad Hassan.
The 34-year old 2016 Nigeria Federation Cup winner will not reject a good proposal to work again in Nigeria but has not had any contact with El Kanemi Warriors yet.
Everton told SportsRation, ” I just read about the El Kanemi Warriors job on Social media. Nobody has contacted me about the job.
When asked about a possible return to coaching in Nigeria, Everton revealed he is open to a good proposal.
Everton last worked in Nigeria with Nigeria National League side Vandrezzer FC. The Brazilian was appointed as the clubs Head Coach in 2019 and worked with the Lions until 2021.
