In a spectacular end to 2023, Anthony Joshua secured an impressive victory against Otto Wallin in Saudi Arabia. THE ATHLETICNG reports.

Legendary boxer Mike Tyson is preparing for a highly anticipated return to the ring when he faces Jake Paul in a contentious match scheduled for November 2024. After that, he wants a big-fight against Anthony Joshua.

This will be Mike Tyson’s first fight since his bout with Roy Jones Jr. during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite the upcoming clash with Paul, Tyson, 57, has expressed a strong interest in taking on former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in a charity match. Tyson believes such a match could significantly benefit charitable causes.

Tyson’s Enthusiasm for a Joshua Match

When asked about the possibility of facing Joshua, Tyson told TMZ, “I’m very interested. If doing that means we can have a bigger charity exponent, well so be it, I’m down to do that, too. I would love to [fight Joshua]. That would be mind-blowing.”

Upcoming Fight with Jake Paul

Before Tyson can contemplate a charity match with Joshua, he must first overcome Jake Paul. The fight with Paul was initially scheduled for July 20 but was postponed to November 15 due to Tyson’s medical situation. The upcoming bout has already generated significant buzz, with fans expressing mixed reactions to Tyson facing the much younger Paul.

Anthony Joshua’s Recent Activity

Anthony Joshua, who remains a major figure in the heavyweight boxing scene, last fought in March. He secured a decisive victory against Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion, in a bout held in Saudi Arabia.

If Tyson emerges victorious, a showdown with Joshua could become one of the most talked-about events in boxing, drawing attention not only for the sport but also for its charitable impact.
