After missing out in their quest to retain the Nigeria Premier Football League title, Enyimba FC chairman, Kanu Nwankwo has shared a significant update that will attract fans to watch the club’s final game of the 2023/2024 season against Plateau United FC.
Enyimba FC have announced that entry will be free for their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 38 clash against Plateau United.
The match, scheduled for Sunday, June 23, 2024, will be held in Aba and marks the final game of the season for the team.
The club made this announcement via their X handle, aiming to gather as much support as possible to help secure a continental ticket.
“I’m writing to inform you that our final home game against Plateau United will be free to attend,” stated the club’s chairman, Nwankwo Kanu.
“This is in appreciation for your unwavering support throughout the season. We believe that your presence will propel our team to victory. We look forward to seeing you at the stadium, dressed in Enyimba’s colors.”
Enyimba hopes this gesture will encourage fans to fill the stadium and cheer them on to a crucial win.
Victory over Plateau United FC on Sunday, June 23, will give Enyimba one of three continental spots at the end of the Premier League season.
The People’s Elephants are currently placed 3rd on the log, behind Champions-elect Rangers International FC and Remo Stars Sports Club.
