Nigerian forward Chukwudi Goodluck makes permanent move to Rio Ave

Nigeria under-23 international, Chukwudi Goodluck, has secured a two-year deal with Portuguese Primeira Liga side, Rio Ave, in a significant career move. The 22-year-old forward joins Rio Ave on a permanent basis, following the expiration of his contract with Belgian outfit, KAA Gent.

Chukwudi’s impressive performance at Gent, where he made 22 appearances and scored four goals, caught the attention of Rio Ave’s scouts. Rio Ave announced the signing on their official website, stating, “Rio Ave Futebol Clube – Futebol, SAD reached an agreement with athlete Chukwudi Igbokwe to sign a contract valid until June 2026.” This deal solidifies Chukwudi’s position in the team and provides him with a platform to showcase his skills in one of Europe’s top leagues.
