The 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) kickoff date has been fixed and matchday one fixtures announced on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

Following its Annual General Meeting, the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the fixtures for the opening matchday of the 2024/2025 season.

The much-anticipated league season is set to kick off on August 31, 2024, with a thrilling encounter between the reigning NPFL champions Rangers International and the Federation Cup winners El-Kanemi Warriors in Enugu.

Following this exciting opener, the rest of the Matchday 1 fixtures will take place over the weekend of September 7 and 8. Fans across the country are eagerly looking forward to the action-packed matches that will set the tone for the season.
