Official: Sevilla announce the signing of Kelechi Iheanacho on Two-Year deal

La Liga giants Sevilla FC have officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian international and former Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho on a two-year deal. The 2013 FIFA U-17 golden boy’s contract with Leicester City expired in June, ending his seven-year stint at the King Power stadium.

Iheanacho underwent a medical examination yesterday, and the official announcement was made today. The Super Eagles star’s addition to Sevilla’s attacking lineup is a significant boost to the team.

This move reunites Iheanacho with his fellow Nigerian, Chidera Ejuke, who also plays for Sevilla. The duo will look to replicate their previous partnership, which saw Iheanacho play alongside Wilfred Ndidi at Leicester City.
