Rivers United goalkeeper Victor Sochima has joined Tanzanian Premier League side Tabora United on a one-year deal with an option to extend for another year. The 25-year-old goalkeeper, who was a part of the Super Eagles squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea-Bissau, completed his medical check and signed the contract earlier today.

Sochima’s move to Tabora United marks a new chapter in his career, having previously played for FC Heartland, Jigawa United, and Rivers United in the NPFL. His experience and skills will undoubtedly be an asset to the Tanzanian club, which finished 14th in the league table last season.
