Abia Warriors face a crucial relegation battle as they host Rivers United in a rescheduled NPFL matchday 27 fixture at the Umuahia Township Stadium today, Wednesday.

Currently in 12th place with 41 points, Abia Warriors desperately need a win to boost their survival hopes. Their recent home form has been a mixed bag, with draws against Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars balanced by victories over Plateau United and Bayelsa United.
