The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Libya’s Mediterranean Knights in a crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match on October 11 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Nigeria will then travel to Libya for their matchday four encounter on October 15 at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benina, Benghazi.
Nigeria, seeking to secure top spot in Group D, began their qualifying campaign with a 3-0 win over Benin Republic and a 0-0 draw against Rwanda. With four points from two games, Nigeria leads Group D, while Libya sits at the bottom with one point.

Libya’s artificial turf stadium, previously known as Hugo Chávez Stadium, will host the matchday four encounter. The facility has a 10,000-seat capacity.
The match in Uyo will kick off at 5 pm Nigerian time, while the battle in Benina will commence at 8 pm Nigerian time.
The Super Eagles will look to maintain their lead in the group, while Libya seeks to improve its standings. Only the top team in each group will advance to the tournament proper in Morocco in December 2025.
Group D standings currently show Nigeria leading with four points, followed by Benin Republic with three points, Rwanda with two points, and Libya with one point.
The winner of each group will qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
