Super Eagles wing wizard Samuel Chukwueze returned to winning ways with Villareal in La Liga with a 3-1 away victory at Getafe last night.
Chukwueze started up front alongside Spanish international Gerrard Moreno and had a quiet game with a rating of 6.6, lost possession 10 times, 1 successful dribble, won 3 aerial duels out of 5 and made 22 passes in 52 minutes.
Making his 34th La Liga appearances scoring 3 goals and 4 assists, Chukwueze helped Villareal secure maximum points after a disappointing 4-1 lost to Barcelona at Camp Nou.
Former Arsenal midfield maestro Santi Cazorla opened the scoring from the penalty spot in 66 minutes before Hugo Duro equalised in the 80th minutes for the home side.
Cazorla scored again from the penalty spot before Reuben Pena added another in injury time to secure the victory for the Yellow Marines.

In England, West Brom went top of the English Championship with a 2 nill home victory against Wayne Rooney’s Derby County, with Semi Ajayi marshalling the defence after being dropped from the starting Xl in Albion’s last two games.

Elsewhere, Queen’s Park Rangers has two players of Nigerian descent, Eberechi Eze and Osayi-Samuel, both were on the losing side as QPR lost to Leon Balogun’s Wigan Athletic who missed the match with an injury he sustained last week.
In Turkey, Trabzonspor flattered once again as they drew 2-2 at home against Antalyaspor.
