Akwa United has announced sales of tickets ahead of their first home game in the Nigeria Premier League against Sporting Lagos on Sunday.

These tickets will be priced reasonably, with rates set at five hundred naira (₦500) and one thousand naira (₦1,000) only. They can be obtained at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, also known as the Nest of Champions, on each matchday.

The team manager of Akwa United, Sir Emmanuel Udoh said the decision to reintroduce ticket sales aligns with the club’s aim to generate revenue while ensuring adequate safety and security measures during matches.

In accordance with this, there will be no complimentary tickets extended to any individuals or associations, and entry will be granted solely through purchased tickets, with identity cards not serving as an alternative means of access.
