Plateau United crashed out of the 2020/21 CAF Champions League after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Tanzania powerhouse Simba Sports Club in the preliminary round on Saturday.
The Nigerian representative played a 0-0 draw in Dar Es Salaam Stadium in Tanzania, after losing the first leg 1-0 at the New Jos Stadium last weekend.
Simba SC have progressed to the next round of the qualification while Plateau United will head back to Nigeria for the commencement of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Rivers United will host Futuro Kings on Sunday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt by 4pm in the CAF Confederation Cup while Enyimba will host Rahimo FC in the CAF Champions League in Aba.
