Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has expressed his excitement for the upcoming 2024/2025 English Premier League season.
The skillful Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder, who joined Fulham from Everton FC in mid-season, has firmly established himself in the London team.
Speaking to Standard News, Alex Iwobi acknowledged last season’s Premier League inconsistencies but is optimistic about a stronger performance in the coming season.

Alex Iwobi and his Nigerian teammate Calvin Bassey were key figures in Marco Silva’s team in the 2023/2024 football season.
“I can’t wait to get the new season kicked off again,” Alex Iwobi said. “With Fulham, we had a bit of an inconsistent season, but we know how good we are. When we were talking at the end of the season, we were thinking, ‘We see the quality in the room; let’s try and push up the table.’ Everyone is ready to go.”
Fulham Football Club finished 13th in the English Premier League last season.
