Arsenal football club has announced that young Nigerian center-back, Tobi Omole who has been playing for the club’s academy will leave the Gunners at the end of his contract on July 1.
Omole joined Arsenal’s Hale End academy in 2014 as a centre back, playing different positions as a left-back, central defender and a defensive midfielder during his 34 appearances for the under-18s before making the move into our under-23 set-up.
The 20-year old signed his first professional contract in 2018, and made 14 Premier League 2 and four EFL Trophy appearances, scoring one goal in the process.
In a statement released on the club’s official website, Arsenal thank Tobi Omole for his contributions and wished him well in their future careers.
The club also announced that fellow academy graduate Matthew Dennis will also depart the club at the start of July.
