Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored from the penalty spot to help Arsenal beat Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
In a rather dour contest that failed to inspire, it was Mikel Arteta’s side who eventually found the breakthrough midway in to the second half.
The victory was Arsenal’s first win at Old Trafford in the English Premier League since 2006, a record which stood for 14 years.
Manchester United failed to continue their resurgence of recent weeks, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s marks his 100 game as manager with a defeat and a poor display all round from the home side.
Man Utd currently sit 15th place on the table with 7 points while Arsenal climb to 9th place with 12 points from 7 games.
