Chidozie Awaziem will return to the Super Eagles of Nigeria team for upcoming Friendly matches as replacement for Injured, Jamiu Collins .
Awaziem, has been snubbed by the National team handlers for close to a year but will take advantage of Injury suffered by left-back, Jamiu Collins to put himself back Into the Eagles set-up ahead of the 2023 AFCON.
The Defender will make a short trip to Faro in Portugal from his Boavista base, to join the Super Eagles squad for International Friendly games vs Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
He is the third replacement named by Super Eagles Head Coach, Jose Peseiro for this International break.
Real Sociedad forward, Sadiq Umar and Empoli defender, Tyrone Ebuehi the other two on the list in place of Nottingham Forest duo, Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina.
