Bayelsa United sets continental ticket target for new coach Ladan Bosso

Ladan Bosso

Bayelsa United has tasked newly appointed head coach Ladan Bosso with securing a continental ticket for the upcoming season. This target was set by Bayelsa State Sports Commissioner Daniel Igali, who expects Bosso to replicate his previous success with the team.

Bosso, an experienced coach, was brought in to replace the previous coach following a poor showing in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season. During his first stint with Bayelsa United, Bosso guided the team to a third-place finish in the NPFL.

Igali charged Bosso, saying, “You are an accomplished coach, and we expect you to get us continental football next year.” This target is a clear indication of the team’s ambition and expectations for the upcoming season.
