Bosso releases names of 25 Nigeria U-20 Eagles for Morroco

Head Coach of U-20 Africa Cup of Nations bound Nigeria Flying Eagles Ladan Bosso has released the list of 25 players that will fly to Morroco today.

The Flying Eagles have been in camp for weeks in Abuja but will look to finalize preparations for the tournament in Egypt at neighboring Morroco.

Ladan Bosso has named three foreign based players plus twenty-two others from different teams in Nigeria for the trip to Morroco. The players are;

GOALKEEPERS: Nathaniel Nwosu (Water FC), Chijioke Anigboso (Giant Brillars), Saheed Akanbi (Adoration FC).

DEFENDERS: Daniel Bamaiyi (YumYum FC), Michael Ologo ( Instanbulspor), Abel Ogwuche ( Trelleborgs FF), Solomon Agbalaka (Broad City), Augustine Njoku (Abia Warriors), Benjamin Frederick (Nasarawa United).

MIDFIELDERS: Daniel Daga (Dakkada FC), Onuche Ogbelu (Nasarawa United), Musa Usman, Mohammed Aminu ( Mailantarki FC), Jonathan Nicholas (Simoiben FC), Shatima Umar( Mahaniam FC), Caleb Ochedikwu (Mavlon FC), Samson Lawal (Unattached).

FORWARDS: Jude Sunday (Realsaphier FC), Francis Ayuba (Nasarawa United), Adams Olamilekan (Remo Stars), Ahmed Abdullahi (Gent), Haliru Sarki (Maikunkele FC), Emmanuel Uchegbu (Plateau United), Ibrahim Mohammed (Mavlon FC), Kingsley James (Unattached).

Nigeria will play two friendly games in Morroco before the final list of 21 will proceed to Egypt for the tournament.

Nigeria will face Senegal, hosts Egypt and Mozambique in Group A at the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. The Eagles will get their campaign underway vs Senegal in February 19, 2023.
