CAF Confederation Cup Final: Rousing reception awaits Olisa Ndah in Uyo

Every step former Akwa United defender Olisa Ndah will make in Friday’s CAF Confederation Cup Final game between Orlando Pirates and RS Berkane will be greeted with cheers by his numerous supporters in Nigeria.

Ndah will be playing his first game at the Nest of Champions since his transfer from Akwa United to Orlando Pirates where he has been one of the standout performers for the Buccaneers in their journey to the final.

With Olisa Ndah set to keep his place in the starting XI alongside his partner and skipper Happy Jele, Orlando Pirates will certainly not lack cheering supporters in their quest for a second Continental title.

Pirates were 1995 winners of the CAF Champions League and have failed at the final hurdle on two occasions. The game on Friday will present them with another opportunity to bring home a trophy to the Orlando Pirates stadium.

Ndah and his Pirates teammates have endured a underwhelming season on home front while excelling in the continent with 8 wins 3 draws and 2 defeats on their way to the final vs RS Berkane.

Olisa Ndah and his teammates are expected in Nigeria today (Wednesday) same day RS Berkane will arrive to fine tune preparation for the showpiece event.

Kickoff time is 8pm (Nigerian time) with Zambian Referee Janny Sikazwe leading the match officials for the CAF Confederation Cup Final game in Uyo.
