Cyriel Dessers could not help Glasgow Rangers FC as they suffered a second pre-season defeat against Manchester United on Saturday.
Rangers FC faced their second consecutive preseason defeat, losing to Manchester United at Murrayfield Stadium.
Super Eagles star Cyriel Dessers started for Philippe Clement’s team but couldn’t find the back of the net during his 76 minutes on the pitch, disappointing the Scottish fans who were hoping for a goal.
This game marked Dessers’ fourth consecutive appearance without scoring for the Glasgow-based club, following his last goal in Rangers’ 5-2 win against Dundee FC.

During the match, Ivory Coast forward Amad Diallo took advantage of a smart pass from Mason Mount and sent the ball into the bottom left corner of Jack Butland’s goal.
In the 70th minute, Polish talent Maximiliano Oyedele, whose father is Nigerian, made a fantastic pass to Joe Hugill, who struck a powerful shot past Butland.
Another standout was Habeeb Ogunneye, a player of Nigerian descent, who impressed during his 45 minutes on the field for Erik Ten Hag’s side.
Dessers will be keen to break his goal drought as Rangers continue their preseason tour, with a match against Birmingham City next on their schedule.
