Abia Warriors has announced the signing of defender Harrison Ibukun from Dakkada FC ahead of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Ibukun becomes Abia Warriors 9th summer signing and second player to join the club from Dakkada FC following the arrival of goalkeeper Vincent Edafe.
The NPFL club announced this morning on Twitter the arrival of Ibukun, tweeting: “We are thrilled to announce the signing of Harrison Ibukun on a two-year deal from Dakkada FC. Welcome, Harrison!”
The former Akwa United defender played 18th times for Dakkada FC last season helping the club to 8th position in their debut campaign in the top flight.

Ibukun formed a formidable defensive partnership at Akwa United with Ariwachukwu Emmanuel during their time together and was part of the team that won the Federations Cup (Aiteo Cup) in 2015.
The club have signed goalkeepers Vincent Edafe from Dakkada FC and Olorunleke Ojo from Sunshine Stars; Nzube Anaezemba from Lobi Stars, Markson Ojobo from Akwa United, Mustapha Jubreel from Mighty Jet, Dennis Kingsley from Odion Ighalo Academy and Godwin Obaje from JS Kairouan.
The Umuahia Warlords started the window with the capture of NPFL winning coach and former Super Eagles assistant coach, Imama Amapakabo, who is tasked with the responsibility to help the club grab one of the continental tickets next season.
