Enyimba confirm player exits ahead of 2024/2025 season kickoff

As the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season approaches, Enyimba International FC have announced the departure of 13 players from the club. This move comes just days before the league’s kick-off, signaling a significant shake-up in the squad.

Among the top names leaving the People’s Elephants is Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke, who has joined Al Merrikh in Sudan.

Other notable exits include striker Chijioke Mbaoma and Ikenne Cooper. The list of departing players also features Desmond Ojietefihan, Anthony Okachi, Chidozie Chilekwu, Ngomere Chisom, Chibuike Nwaiwu, George Owen, MacBen Otika, Uche Collins, Tochukwu Emmanuel, and James Orasonye.

Enyimba FC expressed its gratitude to these players for their dedication and contributions to the club. As the former NPFL champions prepare for the new season, they are set to face the newly promoted side Beyond Limit in their opening league game.
