Esperance sacks former NPFL top scorer, Junior Lokosa

Former NPFL top scorer, Junior Lokosa is set to leave Tunisian club side, Esperance de Tunis after being declared surplus to requirements by the coach of the Tunisian side, Moine Chaabani.

The former kano pillars striker was one of three players named by Chaabani on Monday as not part of the club’s plans for next season.

Lokosa, 26, was top scorer of the Nigeria league three years ago when he scored 18 goals for Kano Pillars. The striker has been troubled by injuries.

The list also includes 20-year-old Nigeria U23 defender Samuel Atvati and Algeria international Tayeb Meziani, 24.
