Adepoju explained that the delay is due to the league body not yet commencing player registrations for the upcoming season.
He assured fans that the club, known as the Oga Boys, would soon announce the players who would compete in the NPFL after their promotion from the lower division.
“The NPFL transfer window is not open yet for the registration of players. I think this will happen this week. We have not registered any players at Ikorodu City. We have our style and what we want to do,” Adepoju stated.
He further emphasised that at the appropriate time, the club will communicate their season squad to fans and the media, following their usual practice in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Ikorodu City FC, established in 2022, played three seasons in the second division NNL before earning promotion to the top-flight NPFL.
