Inter Milan are reportedly in negotiations to sign Super Eagles of Nigeria and Udinese of Italy goalkeeper Maduka Okoye this summer.
Maduka Okoye, 24, is valued at €15 million, and this includes bonuses and add-ons after what was a stellar end to the 2023/2024 season.
According to latest reports, the Nerazzurri want to acquire the Nigerian shot-stopper as successor to current first choice goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Sky Sport Italia’s transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Okoye is a top target for Inter, with talks underway to finalize a deal this summer.
Although Okoye was not Udinese’s first-choice goalkeeper initially, he took over the posts in the second half of the season and played a crucial role as Udinese battled for survival in the final round of the Serie A season.

The former Watford and Sparta Rotterdam man made 22 appearances this season across Serie A and the Coppa Italia and was voted man of the match against Juventus plus other individual honours.
Inter is currently negotiating to reduce the asking price of €12 million plus add-ons and a deal could be agreed in the coming days.
Maduka Okoye, who turns 25 in August, has 16 senior caps for Nigeria and is under contract with Udinese until June 2027.
Okoye was an unused substitute as Nigeria’s Super Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw against South Africa on Friday, June 7, 2024 in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification match.
