Boboye’s leadership saw Sunshine Stars achieve an impressive five-game unbeaten streak from May to June, securing their spot in the NPFL and avoiding relegation.
The streak included two notable away victories against Doma and Gombe United. His achievements outshone competitors Meremu Okara, Majin Mohammed, and title-winning coach Fidelis Ilechukwu.

Meanwhile, Sani Suleiman of Akwa United clinched the Player of the Month award, marking his second win after securing the March edition.
Suleiman’s exceptional performance included scoring five goals in six games, featuring braces in an away victory over Lobi Stars and a home win against Katsina United.
He finishes the NPFL season as the only player to have won the League Bloggers Awards (LBA) Player of the Month twice.
In a statement on June 30, the League Bloggers Awards, alongside its sponsor 54Footballx, said they are proud to honor these outstanding contributions to Nigerian football. The awards will be presented to Boboye and Suleiman at their respective home grounds this week.
