Struggling at the bottom of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Lobi Stars have taken drastic measures to salvage their season by imposing a pay cut on players.
During the unveiling of new head coach Tope Bulus, Benue State Commissioner for Youth, Sports, and Creativity, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange, issued a stern warning to the squad.
He emphasized that only those who perform on the pitch will receive full salary, declaring, “Only those who deliver on the pitch will get paid going forward.”
