Man Utd feature Nigeria's DJ Cuppy in new kit launch

Nigeria Disc jockey and singer DJ Cuppy who joined Manchester United as a supporter in June has been unveiled by Adidas as the club launches their third kit for the 2020/2021 season.

The new design by sports kit giant Adidas has been compared to the traditional colours of Tom Tom by Nigerians, making use of creative black and white stripes with red detailing.

Cuppy tweeted this morning saying: “As @ManUtd fan, I’m PROUD to be a part of their official jersey campaign! READY FOR THE NOISE!”

The ad for the jersey also featured South London rapper Sam Wise and social media personality, Harry Pinero.

DJ Cuppy left Arsenal in June following defeats to Manchester City and Brighton and Hove Albion in June and decided to join the Red Devils owing to Odion Ighalo’s FA Cup goal against Norwich City.
