Manchester United are hopeful that they can keep striker Odion Ighalo beyond Sunday, May 31 according to various English reports.
Ighalo’s Manchester United loan deal is due to expire this Sunday after joining the Red Devils on the January transfer deadline day.
The 30-year-old Nigerian currently on loan from Shanghai Shenhua, who have been thus far insistent that the former Nigeria international will have to return in China once his deal at United is up.
The Premier League is set to return on June 17 and although Marcus Rashford has returned to full fitness united would like to keep Ighalo for the remainder of the season.
Ighalo has scored four (4) goals and provided one (1) in eight (8) competitive fixtures this season for Manchester United.
