Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon has been named Nantes player of the year for the 2019-20 season.
Simon, 27, has been Les Canaries’ Standout performer in a campaign that was curtailed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Simon who was on loan at Nantes from Spanish LA Liga side, Levante scored nine (9) goals and provided eight (8) assists in 30 games in all competitions.
His excellent performance has now been rewarded by the fans who awarded him 40% of the votes in the polling for the award.
While recent reports in France insist that Christian Goucurff’s side have activated the 5m euros option to make his loan permanent, Simon insists no agreement has been reached.
Nantes will clearly love to tie down Moses Simon permanently, but it remains to be seen if the Super Eagles winger will remain with the French Ligue 1 outfit for next season.
