Nasarawa Amazons FC departed for Bayelsa on Wednesday brimming with confidence as they prepare to battle for the NWFL Super Six title.

The team will vie for the championship alongside top contenders Bayelsa Queens (hosts), Edo Queens, Rivers Angels, Confluence Queens, and Heartland Queens.

Intensive training sessions and a strong sense of team spirit have the Amazons feeling well-prepared for the challenge ahead.

“We are ready for the challenge!” declared the club in a statement.

They expressed their sincere appreciation to Governor A. A. Sule of Nasarawa State for his unwavering support and motivation, highlighting his belief as a source of immense gratitude and determination.

The Amazons also acknowledged the tireless efforts of Chairperson Hajiya Hussaina Nagogo, praising her dedication and positive impact on the players.

“We are grateful for the unravelling support from our fans,” the statement continued. “Your cheers and encouragement drive us forward, and we are proud to represent Nasarawa State.” They urged their fans to continue their support from afar as they compete against the nation’s best.
