NFF to interview coaches for vacant Super Falcons job

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick has disclosed that the federation is working tirelessly to recruit qualified coaches for the senior women national team, the Super Falcons.

According to Brila, Pinnick said the search for the right for the team has begun and the announcement will be made at the right time.

“We are working to see how we can hold the interview to select the new head coach for the Super Falcons. have a meeting with our external auditors, price water house coopers this week, on the need for us to get this done ,” he said.

Christopher Danjuma was appointed caretaker coach after the departure of Thomas Dennerby, but the failure of the team to qualify for the next summer’s Tokyo Olympics ruled him out of the job.

The record African championship winners are still without a permanent coach since former coach, Dennerbey, walked out of the team few weeks after leading the team to knockout phase of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
