The 2020 Tokyo Olympics were a bitter pill to swallow for several Nigerian athletes, who were declared ineligible to compete due to administrative negligence. However, their dreams were not crushed, and they have since bounced back to fulfill their Olympic aspirations in Paris.

Favour Ofili, Chioma Onyekwere, Chidi Okezie, and Tima Godbless are among those who overcame the disappointment of Tokyo to shine in Paris. Despite facing further drama, including Ofili’s inexplicable omission from the 100m event, these athletes demonstrated remarkable resilience.
