England-born Nigerian forward Bright Enobakhare has signed a three- year deal with Greek Club AEK Athens from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Nigerian born forward joined the Yellow-Blacks as a free agent after spending six years at English Premier League side, Wolves.

The 22-year old refused to renew his contract with Nuno Espírito Santo’s side after being sent on loan to Wigan in January for a short spell.

The 22-year-old arrived at the Molineux as a 16-year-old from Northfield Town in 2014 and has flourished immensely, although he has faced difficulties in breaking into the first team with loan spells at Kilmarnock in Scotland, Coventry City, and Wigan Athletic in English Championship.

He won the Coventry City Young Player of the Year for the 2018-2019 season after his eye-catching performances with the League One club.

The Greece based club, AEK Athens confirmed the deal on Saturday through their Twitter handle.

Besiktas had shown interest in the Nigerian but the Flying Eagles forward preferred to settle in Greece.
