With just over two weeks to the commencement of the 2022/2023 Nigeria National League season, Ibom Youths FC will engage Nordic Football Academy in a friendly game on Thursday, February 17.
The match will take place at Nordic Football Academy’s home ground at the Afaha Offiong mini-stadium in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State with kick-off fixed for 8am.
The Athletic NG understands Ibom Youths FC will be playing it’s first game since the conclusion of its recruitment process for the 2022/2023 season.
Coach Emmanuel Ntuk of Ibom Youths FC will use the game vs high-flying Nordic Football Academy to test legs and assess his teams level of preparations for the coming season.
The Nigeria National League campaigners only recently concluded recruitment with the task of blending and bonding underway in preparation for the March 3, 2023 NNL kick-off date.
For Nordic Football Academy, the game represents another opportunity to gather valuable experience having previously faced the likes of Akwa United FC, Dakkada FC and Vandrezzer FC in test games.
