Head coach of Nigeria National League side, FC ONE Rocket, Ndubuisi Ndah is delighted to return for a second stint at the club.
The gaffer, who guided the Indomitables to a top five finish in one of the Southern Conference groups in their maiden league campaign in the 2020/2021 season, expressed his feeling in a chat with the team’s media unit in the build up to Saturday’s opener against Warri Wolves.
“For me, coming back was a joyful one. I appreciated it and I felt that I was honoured to come back here and to be given the privilege to work again like I worked in the first year that I was here… I am very happy coming back.”
The Atlanta 1996 gold medal winner with Nigeria’s ‘Dream Team’ also spoke about the preparation for the test against the Seasiders – stating that his boys are ready for action.
“The boys have been very cooperative, and we are ready for the game, I believe that we can really get our result if we put our act together.”
The Indomitables will play home games at the Eket Stadium, an arena that Ndah feels encourages good football.
“Fantastic pitch to play and I believe that if know how to play football, you can play very well there.
“If you are a lover of good football and you like playing watching football, the Eket Stadium is one of the best places to come and watch football because I believe we can give good football to our admirers and supporters,” Coach Ndubuisi Ndah said.
The Eket Stadium hosts the official opener for the 2022/2023 NNL season with FC ONE Rocket hosting Warri Wolves by four o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, March 4.
