Arsenal have announced the capture of young Nigerian midfielder Tim Akinola on a free transfer from Huddersfield Town.
The young midfielder was released by the Championship club Huddersfield Town at the end of last season, despite impressing at the youth set-up.
The FA Cup champions announced today on the club’s official website that the 19-year-old has already met with his new team-mates and is training with the club’s under-23s and academy players ahead of the new season.

Tim Akinola joined Huddersfield Town in June 2019 before he was loaned out to Lincoln City in January 2019.
The central midfielder started his youth career at League Two side Mansfield Town and is eligible to represent both Nigeria and England.
