Ogunbote pleads for patience as Shooting Stars search for first win

Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, has appealed for calm and patience from fans after his team’s 1-1 draw against Plateau United at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Sunday.

The Ibadan club’s winless streak continues, but Ogunbote remains confident that his team will turn the corner soon.

“Today’s game was quite unfortunate. We had difficulties with anxiety, but if you look at the team, it’s a relatively new team trying to get ourselves playing on the field for the first time and impress our supporters,” he explained.
