Nigerian full-back Ola Aina has reportedly inked a one-year contract extension with Premier League side Nottingham Forest, following an impressive season with the club.
Aina played a pivotal role in Nottingham Forest’s successful campaign in the 2023/24 season, aiding the team in avoiding relegation from the top flight for the second consecutive year.
Despite facing challenges, including a four-point deduction, Forest finished in 17th place with 32 points, securing their survival comfortably.

Throughout the season, Ola Aina showcased his quality in 22 Premier League matches, even while on international duty with the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations.
His contributions included one goal and one assist, with his goal proving crucial in a vital 2-0 victory over Aston Villa, which played a significant role in Forest’s fight for safety.
Given his commendable performances, Nottingham Forest management has opted to extend Aina’s contract by one year, ensuring his services at the club until 2025.
