Nigeria forward Henry Onyekuru has landed in Istanbul to complete his loan move to Turkish Super Ligue giants Galatasaray from French ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
The 23-year-old arrived early Saturday after his flight from France was twice cancelled.
Onyekuru after he landed at the Istanbul Airport said that he is always happy to be in Turkey.
“I am always happy to be here,” Onyekuru said on arrival.
This will be Onyekuru’s third loan spell at the Istanbul giants.
Galatasaray will have the option to make the deal permanent in the summer.
In his two pervious stints, he scored 17 goals and provided eight assists in 56 games in all competitions for Galatasaray.
He won a League and Cup double with the club in his first spell.
Onyekuru will be expected to be presented to the media later today after he would have passed a routine medical.
