Red-hot Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is four goals short of activating a bumper goals bonus on his Napoli contract.
Osimhen has scored 16 goals for the Italian Serie A table-toppers this season and will receive €130000 if he scores 20 goals in the league this season.
On Sunday Febuary 5, the Nigerian scored two goals in Napoli’s 0-3 win at Spezia. That win afforded Luciano Spalleti’s men further breathing space at the top of the Italian Serie A standings.
According to LA GAZZETTA DELLO SPORT, apart from the €130k 20-goals bonus clause, Osimhen will be due for additional €130k for every five goals more.
Based on current form and his hugely rewarding partnership with Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, Osimhen is on course to activate the bonuses.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis will be happy to see the former Lille OSC forward reach this height because that will guide the Partonopei to the Scuddeto.
To underline how much he wants the League title, De Laurentiis has reportedly promised all the players ” a gift ” as motivation to win the Italian Serie A title this season.
