Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has expressed his excitement about his growing strike partnership with Spanish forward Álvaro Morata at Galatasaray.
The Napoli loanee, who joined the Turkish champions last summer, has developed a strong attacking connection with Morata. The duo played a crucial role in Galatasaray’s 2-1 victory over Alanyaspor, with Osimhen netting the match-winning goal.
Osimhen’s 17th league goal of the season secured another vital win for Galatasaray.

According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Osimhen credited Spanish forward Álvaro Morata, who played a crucial role for the victory.
The 26-year-old forward was full of praise for Morata, acknowledging the Spaniard’s experience and intelligence in attack.
“Playing with Morata was incredible. He is an experienced player with a great understanding of attacking play and a strong team mentality,” Osimhen told Afrik-Foot.
“I’m very happy to play alongside him, and we hope to have a season where both of us score plenty of goals.”
Nigeria has endured a poor start to the qualifiers, failing to win any of their four matches so far. They currently sit fifth in the group with just three points, trailing Rwanda, South Africa, and Benin, who each have seven points.
