Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has confirmed that he will remain with the Turkish club until the end of the current season, squashing any rumors of a potential January transfer. The Nigerian forward informed coach Orkan Buruk of his decision, ensuring that the club can count on his services for the remainder of the campaign.
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli last summer, has been in scintillating form, registering 12 goals and five assists in 14 appearances.
Despite his impressive performances, it was always expected that the 25-year-old would eventually move on, with numerous top clubs monitoring his progress.

Manchester United, long linked with Osimhen, had been rumored to make a move in January as they seek to bolster their attack. The arrival of Ruben Amorim as the club’s manager last month sparked fresh speculation that a deal could be imminent.
However, according to Buruk, Osimhen has made it clear that he will not be leaving Galatasaray in the winter transfer window.
“Victor has promised to stay with us until the end of the season,” Buruk said, confirming the striker’s commitment to the club for now.

Galatasaray will be eager to retain Osimhen’s services, especially with fellow forward Mauro Icardi sidelined for the rest of the season due to injury.
