Paris Olympic games: Nigeria gets tough Table Tennis draw

Quadri Aruna

The draw for the table tennis events at the Paris 2024 Olympics has presented a challenging path for Team Nigeria representatives.

Nigeria’s top player, Aruna Quadri, received a bye in the Opening Round but faces a tough opponent in the Round of 64.

He will compete against Romania’s Edouard Lonescu, who previously defeated Quadri 3-2 during the semi-finals of the European Champions League. This encounter will mark their second meeting in any competition.

Should Aruna Quadri advance past Lonescu, he will encounter the world number one, Wang Chuqin, in the Round of 32.
