Dolphins FA continued their impressive winning streak in the league as they picked up a back to back victories in a row, hammering Salvation Boys 4-0 in matchday 8 of the Port Harcourt City League at the Joseph Yobo Mini Stadium, Port Harcourt.
Dolphins took the lead in the 6th minute through Chinedu Enyinnaya’s right-footed strike from outside the box to give Dolphins FA a 1-0 lead before Goodluck Neesae doubles the lead in the 38th-minute with a long-range strike to make it 2-0 to give his team a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first 45 minutes.
The second half didn’t produce any spark of a possible comeback as Dolphins FA continued with their impressive display with the third goal in the 53rd minute through a rocket finish from forward Azeez Godwin outside the 18-yard box to make it 3-0.
The encounter was over for Salvation Boys when Dolphins FA added their fourth goal with Goodluck Neesae’s second goal of the game into the top corner to secure his side a 4-0 win over Salvation Boys.
The victory moves Dolphins into the top five on the table on 17 points, four points behind league leaders, SKE FC after 8 games in the league.
Dolphins FA will be hoping to continue their winning streak when they take on league leaders, SKE FC in their next fixture next week Monday at the Joseph Yobo Mini Stadium, Port Harcourt.
