Rangers FC announce new partnership to meet CAF rules

NPFL - Rangers International vs Bayelsa United

Newly crowned champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Rangers International FC of Enugu have announced a new partnership to meet CAF rules.

Rangers International have adopted Green Foot Ladies as part of their preparations for the upcoming CAF Champions League season.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) mandated in 2021 that clubs wishing to participate in men’s continental competitions must have a women’s team to boost the development of the women’s game. Rangers International’s adoption of Green Foot Ladies aligns with this requirement.

In a statement released by the Flying Antelopes, the club highlighted the benefits of this collaboration for young female footballers in the state.
